Most of us dislike rodents, and there is good reason for this. Rodents can make holes in your walls, disturb your insulation, eat your food and spread disease. Sometimes a homeowner might not notice that there is a problem until it has gotten out of hand. You should pay attention to your home to make sure that no rodents have taken up living with you, especially if you live in an area where they are proliferant. Sometimes you might find piles of shredded fibers from cloth or newspaper that rodents might have gathered for nest building. You might also spot holes that look like they have been scratched open where rodents have gained entry. You should immediately patch these up to keep rodents from entering. If you are fortunate, you might have found it at a time they were outside the home.
Using pesticides and traps might work, but you should be careful that you don’t harm your family or pets with pesticides that are strong.
